Location: Bangalore, KA, IN

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and architectural leadership for building scalable, production-grade AI systems, with hands-on experience deploying LLM-powered solutions and multi-agent architectures.
• Design and deliver advanced ML solutions across classical ML, deep learning, and statistical modeling, applied to structured and unstructured data to solve complex business problems.
• Lead the use of LLMs and AI agents in real-world applications, including prompt engineering, agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and reliability guardrails, with demonstrated impact in past projects.
• Own explainability, evaluation, and trust frameworks, ensuring model and LLM outputs are interpretable, auditable, and suitable for high-stakes decision-making.
• Mentor and guide data scientists across levels, setting standards for problem formulation, experimentation, model validation, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate ambiguous requirements into scalable AI and analytical solutions.
• Drive best practices in model governance and lifecycle management, including feature pipelines, versioning, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Strong hands-on expertise across ML, LLMs, and agent frameworks, including:

• Core tools: Python, SQL, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow
• ML models: linear/GLM models, tree-based models (XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost), time-series methods
• LLM & agent frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI-compatible APIs, vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate), workflow/orchestration tools
• LLM landscape awareness: experience evaluating proprietary models (e.g., GPT-4/4o-class models, Claude, Gemini) vs open-source models (e.g., Llama, Mistral, Mixtral), understanding trade-offs across cost, latency, controllability, privacy, and fine-tuning flexibility
• Deployment: API-based model serving, cloud platforms, and integration into production systems
• Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving, and comfort with ambiguity.
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
