Data Science Manager (Marketing) who knows how to turn data into decisions and decisions into growth. This is a role for someone who is equally at home building robust data pipelines, leading high-performing teams, and sitting at the table with marketing leaders to shape strategy. You will drive our data initiatives across a high-growth fintech, helping us understand our customers better, spend smarter, and grow faster. - You are deeply technical, fluent in Python and SQL, and experienced in building and architecting scalable data pipelines using cloud platforms.

Strategy & Vision
- You will develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy, defining what world-class looks like and building the roadmap to achieve it.
- You will bring data leadership and rigour to our approach to product and marketing development, shaping how the business thinks and acts on data.
Team Leadership
- You will hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous growth.
- You will coach and mentor your team, ensuring every individual is supported, challenged, and set up to do their best work.
Data & Insights
- You will drive the generation of actionable insights across marketing, product, risk, and operations, turning raw data into clear business direction.
- You will build and improve Marketing Mix Models for better channel attribution, calculate true per-channel marketing customer acquisition costs, and identify customer segments by engagement and share of wallet.
- You will oversee the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable data pipelines.
- You will lead and champion a culture of rigorous experimentation, including A/B testing and multivariate frameworks, to inform product and business decisions.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- You will partner closely with marketing, product, and engineering managers to ensure the right data is being collected for meaningful business insights.
- You will structure and lead complex, cross-functional projects, bringing clarity and momentum from problem definition through to delivery.

- A high-performing data science team is in place, with clear growth paths and a strong culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Marketing Mix Models and channel attribution frameworks are live, giving the business accurate visibility into per-channel marketing, customer acquisition costs and campaign performance.
- Data pipelines are reliable, scalable, and well-maintained, supporting fast and confident decision-making across the business.
- Experimentation is embedded into how the marketing and product teams operate, with a regular cadence of tests driving measurable improvements in customer acquisition and retention.
- Customer segmentation and share of wallet models are actively informing marketing strategy and resource allocation.
To be considered for this role you should have...
- 8+ years of overall experience in data science or related fields, with at least 4 years in a data leadership or management role.
- Proven expertise in experimentation methodologies including A/B testing, multivariate testing, geo-holdouts, and variance reduction techniques.
- Hands-on experience designing and building data pipelines, including ETL and ELT processes, using cloud platforms such as Clickhouse and BigQuery.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to guide others on choosing the right tools for the right problems.
- Experience working with marketing data and advertising platforms such as Facebook.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to relay complex findings to diverse audiences.
- A genuine passion for coaching, team building, and creating a high-performance data culture.
