Data Analyst Scope
- Support both analytics lead in analytics priority and wider media organisation in specific analytics requests to support wider media delivery MUST HAVE
- MMM data analysis (directed by Analytics Lead) – ascertain clear contributing factors to performance MUST HAVE – but per above, they are not expected to do MMM modelling work – they are expected to do more indepth analysis of the media factors leading to the ROI results
- Indepth analysis on priority test territories agreed by Analytics Lead– for example, attention data analysis and findings, audience analytics, KPI optimisation (largely independent usage of data sources referenced above should be leveraged for analysis) MUST HAVE
- Strategy Lead to direct Analyst on areas of focus for annual guidelines (with Analytics Lead included for visibility) MUST HAVE
- Attend 2x monthly client statuses (but calls will be lead by Analytics lead) GOOD TO HAVE
- Forecasting learning agenda results impact - Within framework directed by and then validated by Analytics Lead MUST HAVE
- Showcase / validate statistical significance of all test results MUST HAVE
- Archie tool development input and feedback – based on data analysis work, highlight additional taxonomy / data organisation to Archie development team that may benefit improved analytics GOOD TO HAVE
- Ad hoc analytical support -Availability for general media performance questions (i.e. evaluating performance after a new setting in Meta was applied, or ad in-depth audience comparison analysis). The Analytics Lead supports ad hoc ask as a guide to help the analyst determine what is actionable and appropriate for media activation MUST HAVE
- Access to and understanding of Archie (incl competitive, Circana data), Dentsu Connect, Google Analytics (if applicable), platform campaign managers, P1 campaign reports and BLS / research studies in order to expedite data analysis and ease additional asks on specialist teams MUST HAVE – but this can be supported with training when they onboard
