The
Data Science Lead is responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing advanced analytics and machine learning solutions that transform large-scale operational and enterprise data into predictive intelligence.
This role defines the end-to-end data science strategy, leads model development, and works closely with data engineering, platform engineering, and product teams to deploy scalable machine learning systems that drive data-driven decision making across the organization.
This role is based out of our Hyderabad, India office. We operate in a hybrid work environment, requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite, with the option to work remotely for up to two (2) days per week.
What You'll Do
AI / ML Strategy
- Define and execute the enterprise AI and data science strategy.
- Identify high-impact machine learning opportunities across operations, products, and customer solutions.
- Translate complex business problems into scalable data science solutions.
- Establish standards and best practices for model development and deployment.
Machine Learning Model Development
- Lead development of models across several domains such as:
Predictive Models
- Forecasting and demand prediction
- Operational performance prediction
- Equipment or asset utilization forecasting
Intelligence & Pattern Detection
- Behavioral pattern detection
- Anomaly detection
- Classification and clustering of operational data
Optimization Models
- Resource optimization
- Route and network optimization
- Cost and efficiency optimization
Production Machine Learning (MLOps)
Implement Scalable MLOps Pipelines Including
- Model training pipelines
- Feature stores
- Model registry
- Model monitoring and drift detection
- Continuous retraining pipelines
- Experiment tracking and A/B testing

Data Governance & Model Quality
- Ensure high quality and trustworthy AI systems by implementing:
- Model explainability practices
- Bias detection and mitigation
- Data lineage tracking
- Compliance with enterprise data governance standards
- Continuous monitoring of model performance
Who You Are
You're a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:
- Education: Master's or PhD in: Data Science/Computer Science/ Statistics/ Applied Mathematics/ Artificial Intelligence.
- 8+ years of experience in data science or machine learning
- 3+ years leading data science initiatives or teams
- Experience deploying production machine learning systems
- Technical skills:
- Programming: Python, SQL, Spark / PySpark
- Machine Learning: Supervised learning, time series forecasting, clustering and segmentation, deep learning
- Platforms: Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), Data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, or similar), Kubernetes or containerized deployments
- Data Systems: Data lakes and warehouses, streaming data pipelines, feature engineering pipelines
- Preferred Experience:
- Large-scale enterprise data platforms
- Real-time analytics systems
- Knowledge graph or graph analytics platforms
- Vector search and embedding models
- AI-driven decision systems
