The Multi Disc Writer (MDW) and Multi Disk Spiral Write (MDSW) Product & Process team plays a pivotal role in the final stage of our media manufacturing process. About The Role - You Will
As an Intern collaborate closely with seasoned Product and Process Engineers. Your role will be instrumental in advancing our software and data analysis capabilities, providing critical support in:
- Support in analyzing MDW Process performance data to understand low yield and assist in visualizing these trends.
- Support in building and maintaining data pipelines for data processing tasks.
- Assist in preparing data for analysis, under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Contribute to coding tasks and data source management, learning how to interpret Python code and perform updates on internal tools or websites.
About You
As a proactive and self-directed learner, you thrive in environments that are ambiguous and challenge your problem-solving skills. You possess:
- Understanding of managing data pipelines, Big Data Analysis and database development.
- Strong team collaboration ethos, able to effectively communicate and manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills.
- A commitment to impactful solutions and continuous improvement.
Your Experience Includes
- Currently pursuing in a Diploma's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related engineering fields.
- Demonstrable experience with programming (Python, Matlab , SQL, etc.).
- Solid understanding of Six Sigma principles and robust data analysis capabilities, with a knack for data science.
Location:
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
