Data Science Instructor:

NDMIT is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Data Science Instructor to join our Kanpur branch. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Data Science concepts and the ability to train students through practical and industry-oriented sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging classroom and practical sessions on Data Science.

• Train students in Python, Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, SQL, and Power BI.

• Guide students on real-time projects, assignments, and case studies.

• Conduct assessments, monitor student progress, and provide feedback.

• Assist students with interview preparation, resume building, and placement activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in Data Science training or industry projects.

• Strong knowledge of Python, Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SQL, and Power BI.

• Familiarity with Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

● Develop and deliver engaging lessons and workshops on core data science topics, with a strong emphasis on SQL and Python programming.

● Guide students through foundational machine learning models, including linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and random forests, ensuring they grasp both the theory and practical application.

● Design and facilitate compelling hands-on projects that allow students to apply their knowledge and build a portfolio of work. We expect you to have demonstrative experience with projects in Python and machine learning.

● Explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely, making them accessible to a diverse group of learners.

● Provide constructive feedback and mentorship, supporting students as they navigate challenges and deepen their understanding.

● Collaborate with our team to continuously refine and enhance our curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and cutting-edge.

● Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science and machine learning. Required Qualifications:

● Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing demonstrative experience with projects in Python and machine learning.

● Expert-level proficiency in Python for data analysis, manipulation, and model building.

● In-depth practical experience with common machine learning models, specifically: linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and random forests.

● Exceptional ability to design and lead hands-on projects that foster practical skill development.

● Strong communication and presentation skills, with a talent for explaining intricate technical details clearly.

● Proficiency in SQL for data querying and management. Preferred Qualifications:

● Familiarity with other Python libraries like Streamlit for building interactive data applications.

● Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts.

● Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) or chatbot development.

● Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or training roles.
