Join our Team as a Data Science Engineer

Location: Gurgaon

Hours: UK Shift

About The Role

As a Data Science Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising our internal and external data environments. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to transform complex data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making across the business. If you're ready to take ownership of data architecture, pipeline development, and analytics frameworks in a fast-paced, innovation-led environment, this is the role for you.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 5+ years experience in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, and modern data stack tools
  • Experience with dbt, Apache Airflow, and Google BigQuery
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data modelling
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) and version control (Git)
  • Skilled in building automated testing and monitoring frameworks
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Committed to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimise ETL pipelines and data workflows
  • Build scalable data models, warehousing solutions, and analytics frameworks
  • Write clean, documented code aligned with team standards
  • Collaborate in sprint planning and refinement sessions
  • Implement data validation rules and quality checks
  • Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and schemas
  • Develop automated testing and monitoring for data processes
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Build reusable code libraries and tools for team efficiency
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
