Clarksons Research is looking to hire a Data Researcher within our data collection team to enhance and maintain our coverage of maritime companies, containership liner schedules, shipping finance and maritime-related sanctions. The role will also support our Sales team by carrying out KYC checks.
This role is heavily focused on primary and secondary research, involving the collection, validation and maintenance of large volumes of data from a wide range of public and industry sources. Successful candidates will be comfortable undertaking detailed investigative research, involving corporate structures and ownership relationships, and working through large datasets with accuracy and consistency.
The position requires a methodical and disciplined approach to manage a regular routine of workflows which are detail-oriented. An interest in the maritime industry and a genuine curiosity about shipping, maritime companies and global trade will help candidates remain engaged and successful in the role.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be:
Salary: INR 9-10 lakh per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Gurgaon – Delhi
Start date: Q3 2026
