TCS is hiring for Data Quality and Governance

Desired Experience Range: 6 to 8 Years

Job Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, Pune, Kolkata

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years writing and optimizing SQL against large datasets
• 1+ year working with automated data profiling output (from DQ Labs or a comparable platform) to drive rule design and threshold decisions.
• Familiarity with Databricks (Spark SQL) sufficient to query it as a monitored data source when verifying rule results.
• 2+ years implementing data quality rules, checks, or validation logic. Direct experience with DQ Labs or a comparable data quality/observability platform (e.g., Collibra DQ, Informatica DQ, Great Expectations, Monte Carlo) preferred.
• Understanding of core data quality dimensions (completeness, accuracy, validity, consistency, timeliness, uniqueness) and how to translate them into testable rules.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and structured change management for promoting rules through environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail in validating rule behavior before deployment.
• Strong written English communication for documenting rules and explaining alert behavior to non-technical, US-based Business Data Stewards.
