We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior, Mid-Level Data Quality & Analysis Specialist responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of organizational data. The role involves reviewing large datasets, identifying inconsistencies, performing data validation checks, and generating insights through advanced analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, advanced Excel expertise, and the capability to translate complex data issues into clear insights for stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness across large datasets. Identify data inconsistencies, anomalies, and quality issues through systematic validation and review processes.
- Perform data validation checks and quality assurance procedures to maintain high-quality data standards.
- Investigate and document data quality issues, including identifying potential root causes. Cleanse, transform, and prepare datasets for analysis and reporting.
- Structure and organize raw data into usable and well-defined datasets. Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and actionable insights. Utilize advanced Excel capabilities (formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting) to analyze and summarize data.
- Handle and process large Excel datasets efficiently. Prepare structured data quality reports and communicate key findings.
- Explain complex data issues and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner. Support business decision-making by providing meaningful data insights and analysis.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong understanding of data integrity principles and data quality management. Proven ability to identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues.
- Experience handling large datasets, including manipulation, transformation, and cleansing. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data summarization.
- Ability to perform in-depth data analysis and validation checks. Strong knowledge of data structures, data types, and relationships.
- Capability to organize and structure datasets for efficient analysis. Experience preparing data quality reports and communicating analytical insights. Solid understanding of data dependencies and their impact on data quality.
Nice to Have Skills
- Understanding of structured vs. unstructured data concepts. Experience working with complex data ecosystems or multi-source datasets. Familiarity with data governance or data quality frameworks.
