Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual testing for datasets, APIs, and backend systems
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to validate ETL pipelines
  • Analyze large datasets and ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Write test cases, document defects, and ensure timely resolution
  • Build automation scripts using Python for repetitive QA activities
  • Perform regression testing on API and data workflows
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met
Must-Have Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Data QA / Backend QA
  • Strong in Python scripting for automation
  • Solid understanding of ETL testing, data validation, SQL
  • Proficient in API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.)
  • Experience testing microservices, data pipelines, or cloud-based systems
  • Strong debugging and analytical thinking skills
