We are looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong data engineering background. The role involves leading technology innovation in ETL technology, managing high-quality software projects, and solving complex business challenges using modern data and analytics technologies. You will lead cross-functional teams, plan project timelines, anticipate risks, and ensure project objectives are met within scope and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical feasibility and project estimation with accountability.
- Engage with project management, architecture, and engineering leaders to ensure tactical roadmaps are in place.
- Simplify technical and dependency complexity to reduce delivery risks.
- Oversee the development lifecycle of the solution.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach.
- Define quarterly objectives and assignments for product teams.
- Work with all stakeholders to assign teams, define milestones, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Plan for risks, anticipate bottlenecks, and provide escalation management.
- Develop capacity models and estimation frameworks to handle discovery and uncertainty.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to determine progress and resolve challenges.
- Mitigate risks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of IT experience, including 4-5 years in a Project Manager role.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Experience in solution design for insurance, banking, or healthcare services.
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
