As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves supporting the development and refinement of the data platform architecture, ensuring that all components align with the overall blueprint. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to coordinating efforts that enhance the platform's efficiency and reliability, contributing to the foundation that supports data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data platform issues to maintain system stability.
- Document processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing expertise.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Experience with cloud-based data storage and processing solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools.
- Ability to optimize data platform performance and scalability.
- Knowledge of security best practices related to data platforms.
