Summary:

As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform architecture, ensuring that all components align with the overall blueprint. This role requires close collaboration with various architects to maintain seamless integration across systems and data models. The position demands active engagement in coordinating efforts among teams to support the platform's scalability and efficiency, while continuously monitoring and improving the platform's performance and reliability. The engineer plays a key role in facilitating communication and alignment between different stakeholders to achieve a unified data infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within the data platform environment.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment of data platform initiatives with organizational goals.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
• Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable data platform components.
• Familiarity with data integration techniques and working alongside data and integration architects.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows and system performance.
• Experience with cloud-based data services and infrastructure is advantageous.
• Skilled in collaborating across teams to ensure cohesive data architecture and system interoperability.
