As a Data Platform Architect, a typical day involves designing and shaping the overall data platform framework, ensuring that all components align with the strategic vision. This role requires close collaboration with various architecture teams to guarantee seamless integration and interoperability across systems. The position demands a thoughtful approach to implementing the platform design, balancing technical requirements with organizational goals, and continuously refining the architecture to support evolving business needs. The architect plays a pivotal role in guiding the development and deployment of the data platform, fostering communication among stakeholders to maintain a unified and efficient data environment.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of data platform strategies to meet organizational objectives.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to enhance overall expertise and performance.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of data platform initiatives with business priorities.
