Azure Data Platform Administrator / Infrastructure & Middleware Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Azure Data Platform Administrator / Infrastructure & Middleware Support Engineer with 5+ years of experience in managing enterprise data platforms, Azure cloud infrastructure, Databricks environments, Unix servers, and middleware support activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure Data Pipeline administration, Azure Databricks Workspace management, Serverless implementation in Databricks, Azure Infrastructure support, Azure Cost Optimization, Firewall and IP Whitelisting activities, and Unix/Linux server administration. Experience in Solace Publisher & Subscriber administration and Azure DevOps will be an added advantage.

The candidate will be responsible for platform administration, infrastructure monitoring, security configurations, production support, cost optimization initiatives, access management, networking coordination, and ensuring high availability of enterprise data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support Azure Data Pipeline environments
• Manage and maintain Azure Databricks Workspaces, clusters, and platform capacity
• Implement and manage Serverless capabilities in Databricks
• Optimize Databricks workloads for performance and cost efficiency
• Perform Azure Cost Optimization activities including monitoring, usage analysis, and resource optimization
• Handle provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Azure Infrastructure
• Perform Unix/Linux server administration and maintenance
• Manage and support Firewall configurations, network access controls, and security policies
• Handle IP Whitelisting requests and connectivity troubleshooting
• Coordinate with network, security, and infrastructure teams for access management
• Monitor system health, uptime, and platform performance
• Support production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations
• Support deployment and release activities across environments
• Perform backup, patching, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Administer and support Solace Publisher and Subscriber environments
• Work closely with Data Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and DevOps teams
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and support procedures
• Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities
