Data Operations Executive in Bangalore

As a data operations executive at Material Depot, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring our product catalog and vendor data are accurate, clean, and optimized for business use. You will collaborate closely with vendors, internal teams, and technology platforms to manage product listings, collate and clean data, and streamline workflows that power India's largest interior materials platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Product listing & management:
• Upload and maintain product data across Material Depot's systems.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of product attributes (size, finish, pricing, categories, description).
• Vendor coordination:
• Interact with vendors to collect and validate product data.
• Follow up with vendors for missing details or corrections.
• Data cleaning & collation:
• Collect raw data from multiple sources and transform it into structured formats.
• Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors in data, and resolve them proactively.
• Data analysis & queries:
• Use SQL to query, validate, and manipulate datasets.
• Generate reports and insights to support internal teams.
• Excel mastery:
• Create and maintain detailed Excel sheets for bulk product uploads and validations.
• Build advanced formulas, pivot tables, and automated checks for efficiency.
• Process efficiency:
• Maintain high standards of data hygiene across all systems.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
