As a Lead - Index Calculation Agent Team within our Index Calculation Team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering accurate index valuation and reporting processes that support global benchmark products. You will play a critical role in ensuring pricing integrity, managing index operations, and enabling high-quality client service across global markets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead daily valuation and price validation of fixed income instruments across global benchmark indices.
  • Drive third-party price capture and validate bond prices against multiple market sources
  • Analyze price movements in the context of market events, news, and trends
  • Collaborate with pricing vendors to resolve discrepancies and mitigate risks
  • Monitor index calculation systems and resolve operational issues in partnership with technology teams
  • Prepare and deliver daily pricing summaries and market impact updates with supporting insights
  • Manage month-end index rebalancing and maintain composition reports based on market activity
  • Produce and analyze valuation movements across portfolios on a daily and monthly basis
  • Handle client queries promptly and participate in global stakeholder discussions and reviews
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while ensuring delivery excellence
    Contribute to process improvements, governance reporting, and ad hoc strategic initiatives


Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 9+ years of experience in fixed income valuation, index operations, or related domain
  • Strong understanding of fixed income instruments, including bonds, yield to maturity, and accrued interest
  • Proven experience in pricing validation and market data analysis
  • Ability to manage teams and drive performance in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience interacting with global stakeholders and handling client requirements
  • Familiarity with market data providers such as Bloomberg and Reuters
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
