Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Data Modeller with strong expertise in data transformation, mapping, and Azure-based data engineering. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable data models and working with modern cloud data platforms, preferably within the insurance domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform data modelling and mapping from source systems (e.g., Eclipse) to target data lake environments
- Design and develop CDM, LDM, and PDM models
- Create master and subject-area-wise ER diagrams using ERwin DM
- Ingest, prepare, and transform data using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
- Develop and manage data engineering transformations in Azure Databricks
- Reverse engineer schemas using Databricks API connection files in ERwin
- Troubleshoot, design, develop, and deploy integration solutions on cloud platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure smooth data integration and delivery
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Data Modelling and Data Mapping
- Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory
- Expertise in ERwin Data Modeler (DM 14.0 or above)
- Knowledge of data transformation and data lake architecture
- Experience with schema reverse engineering
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Domain experience in Insurance (mandatory)
Desired Skills
- Experience in Reinsurance domain
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in cloud-based data engineering and modelling
- Ability to handle end-to-end data lifecycle (design to deployment)
