Job Description
Role: Data Modeler
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: Long term
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: Hybrid - Onsite 2 days a week in Hyderabad
We are seeking a Data Modeler with 5+ years of experience in statistical modeling, machine learning, and large-scale data analysis, with a strong focus on consumer credit risk and underwriting.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building and validating predictive models using Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS, and techniques such as Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and XGBoost.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years in statistical/quantitative analysis and ML modeling
- Strong consumer credit risk / underwriting experience
- Auto industry / auto lending modeling experience strongly preferred ⭐
- Strong Python, PySpark and SQL
- Experience with large-scale data / Spark / Hadoop
- Model development, validation and performance monitoring
- Experience with credit lifecycle, consumer loans or banking
- Tableau/Power BI experience
- Strong communication skills
