Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with strong expertise in the Banking / BFSI domain to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data models aligned with business and analytics requirements.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data modeling, SQL, data warehousing, and BFSI data structures, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business, data engineering, and analytics teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise banking applications.
- Build scalable data models using Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault modeling methodologies.
- Perform data profiling, data mapping, and transformation design for structured and semi-structured data.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and compliance standards are maintained across systems.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams for model implementation and optimization.
- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and reporting efficiency.
- Implement security standards including data masking, encryption, and governance policies.
- Support enterprise data warehousing initiatives and large-scale analytical platforms.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience in Data Modeling within the Banking / BFSI domain

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in Data Warehousing / Data Modeling are a plus.

- 8+ years of overall IT experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise data projects
