Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Modeler role based in Jaipur. The Data Modeler will design, build, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support analytics, reporting, and application needs. Responsibilities include collaborating with data architects, business analysts, and engineering teams to understand requirements, translate them into scalable data structures, and ensure alignment with enterprise data architecture standards. The role involves defining and documenting data entities, relationships, and metadata, as well as supporting ETL teams in implementing data integration and transformation processes. The Data Modeler will also participate in data quality and data governance initiatives, helping to establish standards, best practices, and documentation to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong Data Modeling skills (conceptual, logical, and physical models) and experience with modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar).
- Knowledge of Data Architecture principles and ability to align models with enterprise data strategies and reference architectures.
- Experience with Data Governance and Data Quality practices, including standards, controls, and data stewardship concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) design and implementation, working closely with data engineers on pipelines and integrations.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases; exposure to data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and modern data platforms (cloud or on-premise).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex data concepts clearly, and produce high-quality documentation.
- Experience with big data technologies, cloud platforms (such as Azure or AWS), and analytics/BI tools is preferred.
