Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler / Architect with 10-18 years of experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing data models that meet business needs and facilitate effective data management and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data models to support business requirements and analytics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into data models.
• Optimize existing data models for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and accessibility across databases.
• Document data modeling processes and maintain version control for data models.
• Implement best practices in data architecture and modeling techniques.

Skills and Qualifications

• 10-18 years of experience in data modeling and architecture.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, or similar.
• Strong understanding of database technologies including SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes using tools like Informatica, Talend, or Apache Nifi.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud data services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
