Key Responsibilities

• Understand high-level business requirements based on use cases and downstream consumption patterns.
• Analyze source data based on business requirements.
• Propose and implement updates to enterprise-level conceptual data models in ERwin and obtain EDO/Business approval.
• Propose and implement updates to enterprise-level logical data models in ERwin and obtain EDO/Business approval.
• Propose and implement changes to solution-level logical and physical data models in ERwin and obtain Data Architect (DA) approval.
• Create STTM documents for physical-level changes, including business logic and transformations, and obtain DA approval.
• Socialize physical data models and STTM documents with data engineers and testers.
• Ensure updates to Collibra Logical Data Dictionary (LDD) based on the enterprise-level logical model.
• Enrich the LDD by updating entity and attribute descriptions.
• Coordinate data harvesting from production for the Physical Data Dictionary (PDD) post go-live.
• Create technical lineage between the LDD and PDD through stitching and mapping.
• Understand the Business Terms (BT) and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) defined for the domain/sub-domain.
• Support the creation and maintenance of business lineage.
• Complete classification of physical tables.

Align physical tables with data products and publish them in the data marketplace.
