Summary:

As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and collaborating to design and refine data models that support both current and future business needs. This position requires continuous interaction and coordination to ensure that data models align with organizational goals and facilitate efficient data management and utilization across different teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience with designing and implementing data architectures that support analytics and reporting.
• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data structures for performance and scalability.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and integration of diverse data sources.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
