As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models are accurate, efficient, and support organizational goals. The Data Modeler plays a vital role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation by facilitating communication and translating complex data requirements into practical models.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the development and maintenance of data models to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to align data strategies with organizational goals.
• Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support in data modeling best practices.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Data Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational database design principles.
• Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality concepts to ensure model integrity.
