As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business goals and technical implementation by translating complex requirements into effective data solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead efforts to ensure data models meet both current and future business requirements.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data modeling strategies with organizational goals.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Netezza.
• Experience in designing and implementing complex data models to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data warehousing principles.
• Ability to optimize data models for performance and scalability within large data environments.
• Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
• Skilled in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather and refine data requirements.
