Summary:

As a Data Migration Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the comprehensive planning and execution of data migration activities to guarantee that data is transferred accurately and completely into the target system. This role requires coordinating multiple teams, establishing effective migration strategies and controls, and proactively managing potential risks. The position demands continuous communication and collaboration to ensure a seamless and dependable transition of data, while maintaining alignment with project goals and timelines. The Data Migration Lead plays a pivotal role in driving the migration process forward, ensuring all aspects are meticulously managed and executed.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Develop and implement migration plans that align with organizational objectives and project requirements.
• Monitor progress and quality of data migration activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
• Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to address challenges and optimize migration outcomes.
  
  

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Experience in designing and managing large-scale data migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data validation techniques.
• Ability to develop and enforce migration controls and risk mitigation strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and integration tools related to Snowflake.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on ensuring data integrity and consistency.

• This position is based at our Mumbai office.
