Job Description

As a Data Metrics and KPIs Operation Support Associate within the Global Vendor Management team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reporting daily/monthly/quarterly KPIs/Metrics for our data vendors. You will also manage issue trackers for all vendor-related incidents and work across the business on preventive measures for reoccurrence/controls/identify themes. Your role will also involve staying informed of vendor notifications for changes impacting service and providing operational support for all vendor incidents. You will also provide expertise and guidance on the market data industry and data behaviours to identify, resolve and correctly categorize incidents quickly.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and report KPIs/Metrics for data vendors on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Manage an issue tracker for vendor-related incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Implement preventive measures and controls to avoid incident reoccurrence.
  • Prepare monthly executive summaries and newsletters.
  • Ensure clarity and maintenance of roles and responsibilities.
  • Establish vendor contingency processes for outage scenarios.
  • Monitor vendor and market event notifications for service-impacting changes.
  • Provide support for vendor incidents and report to the Project Management Office.
  • Define and track operational level agreements and influence formal service agreements.
  • Conduct service review meetings, resolve queries, and maintain strong internal relationships.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience required
  • Demonstrate strong experience with Tableau.
  • Exhibit strong experience with Alteryx.
  • Utilize some experience with SQL and Access DB.
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Understand third-party/vendor management, asset pricing, and investment instruments.
  • Communicate effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Manage your own workload with minimal supervision; be self-motivated and proactive.
  • Leverage experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Maintain a good understanding of JPMorgan businesses and a risk-based mindset to drive efficiency and controls.
