Job Title-Data Marketplace Analyst

Position type- Full Time

Work Location- Bangalore

Working style- Hybrid

Cab Facility- yes

Shift Time - 12pm-9pm

People Manager role: No

Required education and certifications critical for the role- Any Graduate or Post-Graduate (full time)

Required years of experience - 3-5 years of relevant experience

This role is responsible for analysing metadata and taxonomy structures to ensure efficient data organization, retrieval, and management. This role also supports the administration of Aon's data catalogue solution to make data assets and data sources searchable. Reporting into the Marketplace Director, you will be expected to run specific workstreams / projects, escalating where support is required and oversee the work of any Analysts on the team.

What the day will look like

.Metadata Standards: Measuring compliance with metadata standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across all data assets.
.Taxonomy Structures: Supporting the categorisation and organisation of data in line with taxonomy structures.
.Data Catalogue: Helping to administer Aon's data catalogue solution to enable data assets and data sources to be searchable.
.Collaboration:Supporting regional data teams to raise awareness of metadata and taxonomy standards.
.Quality Assurance: Measuringaccuracy and completeness of metadata within the data catalogue
.Guidance and Support: Provide practicalsupport to data producers on metadata and taxonomy best practices.
.Documentation: Help to maintainmetadata and taxonomy structures, processes, and standards.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

This role requires a blend of analytical skills and experience including:

.3-5 years of experience in metadata management
.Understanding of metadata management and data catalogue solutions to make data sources searchable
.Familiarity with insurance industry data standards and practices
.Experience of data lineage tracking and preferably SQL skills for metadata querying and analysis
.Good written documentation and verbal communication skills to promote the benefits of metadata management to internal stakeholders
.High level of accuracy and attention to detail in curating data and experience with business glossary development and maintenance
.Knowledge of the complementary roles of technology, data management and data governance teams
.Good analytical and problem-solving skills
