Data Manager

About the Role

The Business Data Manager is responsible for overseeing the capture, review, and analysis of business data to generate clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making and performance improvement. This role develops, builds and manages all reporting cadences and maintains performance dashboards to ensure teams have accurate, timely visibility of key metrics. Acting as a central data partner across the organisation, the Business Data Manager helps drive operational efficiency, enhance commercial performance, and enable informed decision making.

Responsibilities

1. Data Governance & Quality Management:

• Ensure proper and consistent usage of data systems, including Kapta and Zoho, across all relevant teams.
• Collect, validate, consolidate and organize data from multiple sources to maintain quality, accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Partner with markets, leadership, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure full visibility of business performance and eliminate data gaps.
• Establish and maintain data quality standards, documentation, and governance processes

2. Reporting, Dashboard and Tool Management

• Design, update, and manage dashboards and data tools that provide clear visibility of KPIs, performance trends, and business outcomes.
• Develop, maintain and optimise all reporting cadences, ensuring dashboards and reports are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Deliver clear, meaningful analysis that supports growth, commercial and strategic decision making.
• Continuously improve reporting capability through automation, visualisation and process optimization.

3. Insight Generation, Analysis & Communication

• Conduct analysis of market, business, operational, and commercial data to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate data findings into actionable insights that support strategic decisions across growth, clients, and operations.
• Support the development of presentations and leadership materials by turning data into clear narratives and recommendations.
• Respond to ad‑hoc analytical requests to support business units with timely and relevant insights.
• Deliver insights in clear, digestible formats that support alignment across markets and leadership groups.
• Act as a central point of contact for data‑related queries, ensuring teams understand available metrics and how to interpret them.
• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to ensure insights are understood, actioned, and embedded into planning processes.
