Job Summary

Presidency Group of Institutions is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented DTP Operator – Curriculum Designing to support the development, formatting, designing, and production of high-quality academic and curriculum materials.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of CorelDRAW, Photoshop, MS Office, Excel, MathType, ChemSketch, and AI tools, along with excellent formatting and page-layout skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, format, and prepare curriculum materials, worksheets, question papers, workbooks, lesson plans, and academic content.
  • Create professional layouts for textbooks, study materials, activity sheets, assessments, and other educational resources.
  • Format Mathematical equations, formulas, chemical structures, diagrams, tables, and charts using appropriate software.
  • Work extensively with MS Word and Excel for academic content preparation, formatting, data handling, and documentation.
  • Design and edit academic illustrations, images, diagrams, and page layouts using CorelDRAW and Photoshop.
  • Use MathType for accurately formatting mathematical equations and mathematical content.
  • Use ChemSketch for creating and editing chemical structures, formulas, and diagrams.
  • Utilize AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, content formatting, design concepts, and academic material preparation.
  • Ensure consistency in fonts, spacing, alignment, page numbering, headers, footers, tables, and overall document formatting.
  • Coordinate with curriculum developers, subject experts, teachers, and academic teams to incorporate revisions and feedback.
  • Proofread and check documents for formatting errors, alignment issues, missing content, and printing requirements.
  • Prepare files in suitable formats for digital publishing and printing.
  • Maintain organized files and versions of curriculum materials.
  • Handle multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of DTP and document formatting.

  • AI Tools
  • Good understanding of page layout, typography, image editing, tables, charts, and document design.
  • Ability to work with mathematical, scientific, and academic content.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Qualification

  • Diploma / Degree / Certification in DTP, Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing, Computer Applications, or a related field.
  • Candidates with relevant experience in educational content/curriculum designing and publishing will be preferred.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in DTP, curriculum designing, academic content development, educational publishing, or a similar role.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience working with schools, colleges, educational publishers, curriculum teams, or academic institutions.
  • Strong eye for detail and professional document presentation.
  • Knowledge of both print and digital academic content preparation.
  • Comfortable using AI-based tools for content/design-related work.
  • Ability to independently manage assignments from formatting/design to final-ready files.
