Data Lead Consultant L3

Job Description

Position Description:

Act as both a lead and a higher-level Consultant on assigned tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and partners to understand the specific Enterprise master data needs and be able to translate those requirements into a comprehensive solution.

• Expert knowledge in SAP system sizing, DMS Cloud, SAP Data Archiving and SAP BASIS.
• Define and maintain data architecture frameworks, standards, and principles specifically for SAP environments.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, technical consultants, and business analysts to ensure data models align with business goals.
• Evaluate emerging SAP technologies and recommend adoption to enhance data architecture maturity.
• Define data lineage strategy, data archiving, decommissioning strategy to manage historical data and reduce TCO.
• Familiarity with enterprise data warehouse and data lake architecture patterns.
• Solid knowledge of data governance frameworks and Mastre Data Management principles, particularly within SAP landscapes.
• Implementation experience in hybrid landscapes.
• Excellent understanding of data migration concepts, and strategies.
• Experience in data migration using SAP, and non-SAP solutions.
• Experience in conducting design thinking workshops.
• Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud, RISE with SAP).
• Experience with SAP Activate, as well as Agile, Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in agile environments and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to implementation in Hyperscaler Cloud landscape such as AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Knowledge of non-SAP data integration and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Tools (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project, etc.)
  
  

Education

• Required Bachelor's or Master's university degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field.
• SAP certification(s) in data architecture, HANA modeling, or related domains.
• Certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, ITIL are nice to have.
