We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Labelling and Tagging Consultant to assist in the preparation, annotation, and organization of datasets for AI/ML models. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in data annotation tools, tagging methodologies, and a solid understanding of machine learning workflows. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy for training and evaluating models.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Annotation and Tagging:
- Label, tag, and annotate datasets (e.g., text, images, audio, video) according to predefined guidelines.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in annotations to meet project requirements.
- Identify and correct data inconsistencies and anomalies.
Tool and Workflow Management:
- Use data labelling tools such as Labelbox, Supervisely, Scale AI, or similar platforms.
- Design and implement annotation workflows for large-scale datasets.
- Optimize the tagging process for speed and accuracy.
Data Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on labelled data to ensure adherence to project standards.
- Collaborate with the QA team to refine guidelines and improve labelling accuracy.
Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to understand data requirements.
- Provide feedback to improve annotation guidelines and processes.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of labelling methodologies and processes.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, including metrics for dataset quality and completeness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in data labelling, annotation, or data preparation for AI/ML models.
- Proficiency with annotation tools like Labelbox, CVAT, or Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python) are a plus.
- Experience with image, text, or video datasets is highly desirable.
