As a Data Ingestion Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing & automate data ingestion pipelines for ERP systems like Oracle, SAP using HVR, SAP Datasphere SLT, PySpark, Python.
- Implementing near real-time and batch ingestion workflows leveraging HVR for replication and SLT for SAP data integration.
- Ensuring data quality and consistency through validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.
- Collaborating with ERP functional teams to understand data structures, business logic, and integration requirements.
- Optimizing ingestion workflows for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting pipelines to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ERP data.
- Documenting processes, standards, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Contributing to automation initiatives by building reusable frameworks and scripts for ERP data ingestion, Pyspark Ingestion
- Trouble shooting and fix any incidents or request raised to fix the data pipelines
- Being proactive in an agile working environment
- Participating in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
- Researching and evaluate emerging technology, industry, market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have Hands-on experience with HVR (real time data replication) and SAP Datasphere SLT (data integration and transformation).
- Have strong programming skills in Python and PySpark
- Have a proficiency in SQL for querying, transformations, and performance tuning.
- Have an experience with ERP systems (Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP) & Databases like SQL Server, MySQL.
- Have a familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
- Have a strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Have a knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, OCI) for ERP data integration.
- Have an understanding of ERP data models (finance, procurement, HR, supply chain)
- Have a knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering
- Have an exposure to Tableau / Qlik
