Role Overview:
As a Data Ingest Technician/ Assistant Editor (Technical) in the Media Management Team, you will play a crucial role in the post-production workflow by organising media, creating proxies, preparing timelines for editorial, picture and sound finishing and deliveries, syncing multicam footage/ audio, and be a key collaborator to the Post Production team ensuring a smooth editing process for the lead editors and creative teams. You must be someone who loves solving technical problems, using AI to automate recurring tasks, be detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced post-production environment.
This is NOT a creative role.
So if you aspire to be a video editor, this role is NOT for you.
What you'll actually do
- Media Management: Ingest, organize, and maintain footage, ensuring proper file naming and storage.
- Syncing & Prepping: Sync audio with video, and prepare sequences for the Editors.
- Quality Control: Review footage for technical issues, missing elements, and inconsistencies before final edits.
- Export & Delivery: Render, export, and prepare files in different formats for review and final deliveries and there after, manage archival.
- Collaboration: Work closely with editors, creative producers, and post-production supervisors to ensure smooth workflows.
- Software Proficiency: Maintain a strong understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro, other key Adobe Creative Suite applications and DaVinci Resolve.
- Being up to date with the latest developments in the world of Post Production tools and technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Previously worked at a fast paced post-production environment specifically handling media ingest, proxy creation, multicam sync, and technical QC.
- Software Knowledge: Strong Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of video formats, codecs, bitrates, and the full picture and sound finishing pipeline.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage large amounts of footage, keep projects structured, and handle tight deadlines.
- Attention to Detail.
- Communication & Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with senior editors, producers, and creative teams effectively.
- Adaptability: Open to feedback and able to work on multiple projects with tight turnarounds.
