Job Description

  • Develop and implement a Data Governance Policy and data management strategies to ensure accuracy and consistency across the organization.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Master Data, owning its integrity in key systems.
  • Assist in defining and applying data standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure continuous data quality and compliance across the enterprise.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls.
  • Work with a combination of custom-built tools, SAP MDG, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Provide active improvement ideas for centralized data services tools.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and represent centralized data services externally.
  • Ensure all work is robust, sustainable, and scalable.
  • Develop, adapt, and refine Master Data operational processes using lean tools.
  • Identify and resolve data-related issues and develop effective data governance strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Project-manage data-related initiatives and provide training and support to business users.
  • Implement change management to influence the business on the importance of data quality.
  • Monitor data quality, identify inconsistencies, and work with teams to rectify them.
  • Assist operational teams in resolving complex data quality problems.
  • Work closely with business and IT to ensure alignment of master data rules.
  • Have the courage to question things and speak up.

Your Profile

  • University master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Intercultural competence and fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a data steward, preferably in a medium to large financial services organization.
  • Hands-on experience with data management tools such as SAP MDG, SQL, Python or R for data analysis, Power BI, QlikView, or other lineage/data quality tools is a plus.
  • A change agent with a view on the E2E process and knowledge in P2P, O2C, and R2R.
  • Project management and Change management qualification or a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about master data.
  • Can-do attitude and ability to adapt to constant changes.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
