Key Responsibilities
- Implement and promote Data Governance and Data Stewardship principles across the organization.
- Collaborate with Data Stewards and business units to establish Data Classification, Data Validation, and Data Quality controls.
- Design and maintain Data Quality rules for Risk, Finance, AML/KYC, and Customer Data domains.
- Develop and maintain governance documentation, processes, controls, and reporting mechanisms.
- Support Data Lineage initiatives to improve data traceability and transparency.
- Facilitate adoption and utilization of Data Governance tools such as Collibra.
- Ensure compliance with BCBS239 and other regulatory standards.
- Promote best practices in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Stewardship.
- Deliver user training, awareness programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Support issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives across governance domains.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in:
- Data Governance
- Data Management
- Regulatory Reporting
- Data Warehouse / Data Lake environments
- Data Architecture or ETL-related functions
- Banking industry experience is required.
- Experience in Data Stewardship and Governance operations.
- Knowledge of BCBS239 and Regulatory Reporting requirements.
- Experience designing and managing Data Quality rules and remediation activities.
- Hands-on experience with Data Governance tools such as:
- Collibra
- Alation
- Informatica
- Strong documentation, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- CDMP, DGSP, CIMP, Collibra, GARP, or PRMIA certifications are advantageous.
