The Data Governance Policy and Standard Analyst 2 will support execution of the Data Governance roadmap by assisting in stewardship activities, standard creation and implementation, and contributes to data project planning. This role will focus on the strategic vision of Data Governance, familiarity with business policies and standards, and data processing applications.
Essential Job Functions
- Support execution of the roadmap by coordinating delivery of efforts across the organization against approved roadmap. - (40%)
- Support execution of the Data Governance roadmap for education and compliance with the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and Standards. - (20%)
- Research and stay knowledgeable about the Data landscape and technology to proactively identify areas of advancement within Data Governance. - (20%)
- Partner with data communities and collaborate cross-functionally with Data Governance, IT and other functions to ensure execution of the Data Governance strategy. - (20%)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
- 2+ years of experience working in data governance or data management practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Master s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field of study
- Experience in policy and/or standard creation
- Experience in assessing adherence to policies and/or standards
