About Position
We are seeking a Data Governance with experience in Data governance, MDM, MS Purview, Collibra, Alation, etc.,

What You'll Do
- Support the Principal Consultant and Data Architect during the Discovery phase in documentation and preparation of executive level presentations.
- Assess the current state governance landscape, including data ownership, stewardship, metadata capture, lineage, quality controls, and access policies across institutes.
- Define target state data governance and data management recommendations, aligned to a standardized but distributed enterprise data platform.
- Contribute to the design of metadata standards, business glossary, unstructured data tagging/labeling approaches, and data product certification criteria.
- Provide input into architecture options, roadmap, and business case, ensuring governance and data management requirements are embedded by design.
Expertise You'll Bring
- Experience in data governance, data management, and information architecture, supporting enterprise data modernization programs.
- Strong expertise across metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, data quality, and policy enforcement, including both structured and unstructured data.
- Proven experience designing governance models for federated or distributed data environments (e.g., multi domain, data mesh, hub and spoke).
- Solid understanding of master data management (MDM), reference data, entity harmonization, and cross domain data consistency challenges.
- Hands on experience with one or more of the following tools: MS Purview, Collibra, Alation
- Nice to Have Prior experience in scientific research, safety science, standards bodies, or regulated research organizations with complex, domain‑specific data.
- Certifications on any leading data governance tool
