We are looking for a
Global Data Structure Management Specialist (Supply Chain & Operations Data) to design, govern, and optimize enterprise structure master data across Lonza's global Supply Chain and Operations landscape.
This role ensures consistency, completeness, accuracy, and integrity of core enterprise structure data across end‑to‑end business processes. Acting as a key contributor to Lonza's Data Governance framework, you will define standards, lifecycle rules, and governance models while supporting cross‑functional alignment across Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and integrated business processes.

What You'll Do
- Define, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, concepts, and standards for enterprise structure master data in Supply Chain and Operations
- Manage lifecycle processes for critical enterprise data objects, including creation, modification, and deactivation of organizational structures (e.g., Plant, Storage Location, Sales Organization, Distribution Channel)
- Analyze the impact of enterprise structure data changes across upstream and downstream systems and guide stakeholders toward optimal decisions
- Lead impact assessments for new data structure requests and coordinate implementation with IT and data governance teams
- Manage and govern enterprise structure data within SAP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity through control checks
- Develop and implement analytics and dashboard reporting strategies for monitoring enterprise data quality and structure performance
- Act as a trusted advisor to supply chain and operations stakeholders on governance, structure design, and cross‑functional dependencies
- Drive stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption of data governance standards and best practices
- Develop and maintain training materials and conduct training sessions for business users
- Manage tools supporting Data Structure Management and coordinate with internal and external IT service providers
- Contribute to the development and evolution of the Lonza Data Framework
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, standardization, and reporting capabilities
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in Supply Chain and Operations master data or enterprise structure data management
- Strong understanding of enterprise structure master data processes and ERP systems, particularly SAP MM, PP, PM, and SD modules
- Experience with data governance frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Solid understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain and operations processes and cross‑functional integration

- Ability to understand and communicate complex dependencies across systems, processes, and functions
