Data Governance Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance & Data Management Lead to

design, implement, and scale enterprise-wide data governance and data

management capabilities. This role will be responsible for defining governance

frameworks, implementing governance & data management programs for the

client organization, improving data quality, enabling trusted data products, and

fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on expertise in modern data governance practices and platforms:

• Define and implement the enterprise data governance vision, operating
• model, policies, standards, and processes
• Lead the design, implementation and adoption of enterprise data governance capabilities including metadata management, business glossary, data ownership, data lineage and stewardship processes using platforms such as Alation, Collibra, Informatica
• Define, implement, and monitor data quality frameworks, rules, scorecards, and remediation workflows to improve trust, consistency, and usability of enterprise data assets
• Lead implementation and optimization of governance platforms such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, Purview, or similar tools.
• Partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to design & implement overall enterprise data management capabilities using modern data platforms
• Establish and operationalize data governance policies, standards, controls, and best practices related to data classification, retention, access management, and lifecycle governance
• Lead governance assessments, maturity roadmaps, and transformation programs.
• Drive change management, communication, and training initiatives to improve governance adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Engineering degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

12+ Years of experience Data Governance & Data Management.
