Data Governance Lead or Architect

Responsibilities:

• Overall experience of 10+ years with proven relevant work experience asa Data Governance specialist of at least 6+ years
• Proficient in Sql, DatabaseManagement activities.
• Data Governance Lead will take theownership for implementation of data governance programs, including architecture, development and support operations utilizing market leading MDM, Data Quality, Data Cataloguing & Data Governance solutions.
• Design and architect end-to-end data governance solutions, focusing on the implementation of Data Governance tools (Collibra/Atlan) to meet the organization's data governance objectives and requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to understand data governance needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Develop data governance strategies, policies, and standards that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Define and implement data governance workflows and processes, ensuring efficient data governance operations across the organization.
• Develops and deploys data governance framework/standards consisting of data policies and processes in the areas of data ingestion, data movement, data quality, master & reference data and data life cycle management.
• Conduct data profiling, data quality assessments, and data lineage analysis using tools to identify data issues and develop remediation strategies.
• Enforce data practices as per changing regulatory policies in order to meet compliance requirements from time to time.
• Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders, data stewards, and data owners on the effective use of tools for data governance activities.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data governance, and proactively recommend enhancements and improvements.
• Should have worked in vigorous agile environment.
• Lead experience in managing team on Data Governance topics.
