Responsibilities:
- Analyze client data governance requirements and reporting workflows to design fit-for-purpose automation solutions using Alteryx and Microsoft Copilot Studio.
- Build and document automated data pipelines using Alteryx's low-code data preparation, blending, and workflow capabilities, including data ingestion, cleansing, validation, and transformation processes.
- Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents/copilots to support AI-augmented reporting, natural-language query interfaces, and intelligent exception handling within governance workflows.
- Create data lineage documentation, flowcharts, technical specifications, and reusable components (macros, templates, connectors) to support delivery and internal enablement.
- Configure and deploy Alteryx Server/Designer and Copilot Studio environments, including integration with upstream/downstream systems (data lakes, reporting platforms, APIs).
- Conduct unit testing, SIT, and UAT for automated reporting workflows, and provide warranty support post go-live.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production data pipelines and AI agents, ensuring data accuracy, minimal downtime, and high client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with data governance teams, internal stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure data quality, timeliness, and cost control.
- Track progress, manage risks/issues, and ensure scope adherence for governance automation initiatives.
- Maintain license validity and asset repository for Alteryx and Copilot Studio environments.
- Conduct regular training sessions on Alteryx and Copilot Studio features, best practices, and platform updates.
- Create and maintain training materials, demo environments, and documentation for consultants and clients.
- Develop and maintain a repository of use cases and success stories for AI-augmented data governance automation.
- Create templates and gather data/videos from delivery teams to build high-quality case studies.
- Ensure version control and accessibility of documentation for delivery enablement.
- Stay updated on Alteryx and Copilot Studio platform enhancements, limitations, and integration capabilities, including responsible AI and data governance guardrails.
- Expand knowledge to adjacent technologies (e.g., RPA, Power Platform, data lakes, APIs, LLM orchestration) to support broader automation initiatives.
- Conduct requirement gathering, develop BRDs, and design end-to-end automation solutions spanning data preparation and AI-driven reporting.
- Prepare test scripts, conduct testing phases, and deliver training and support.
- Provide technical guidance and feedback to consultants during prototyping and PoC phases.
- Conduct technical interviews and create screening questionnaires for Alteryx/Copilot Studio roles.
- Support onboarding and capability development of new team members.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, Data Analytics, or related Engineering disciplines.
- Process Automation Experience: Hands-on experience with Alteryx and Microsoft Copilot Studio (or comparable tools such as Xceptor, Power Apps) for streamlining data governance, reporting, or operational workflows.
- Data Governance Exposure: Understanding of data lineage, data quality frameworks, validation controls, and regulatory reporting requirements, particularly within financial services.
- AI/Automation Integration: Experience building AI-augmented workflows or copilots (Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or similar) that layer on top of structured data pipelines, with an appreciation for auditability and deterministic controls in regulated environments.
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA): Delivery experience using RPA platforms (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath) is a plus, especially where automation has evolved toward AI-driven approaches.
- Scripting & Programming Skills: Ability to develop and troubleshoot scripts using Python, R, PowerShell, and JavaScript/Power Fx for integration, data transformation, and automation tasks.
- Financial Services Domain Exposure: Familiarity with banking or financial services processes, especially reconciliations, data validations, or regulatory reporting, is a plus.
- Ability to work well within a multi-disciplinary team structure, but also independently.
- Meet agreed deadlines, with demonstrable productivity.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Flexibility in scheduling with willingness to work as per client schedule if required.
- Willing and able to travel up to 20% (domestic, regional, and international).
