Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather and formalize business user needs related to data governance and catalog usage.
• Define and structure functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
• Support functional testing, validation, and implementation of data governance solutions.
• Facilitate workshops with business users, Data Owners, and Data Stewards.
• Develop training materials, user guides, and onboarding documentation.
• Ensure high-quality documentation including metadata standards, business glossaries, and catalog guidelines.
• Drive adoption of Data Catalog tools through change management and communication initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between Data Catalog usage and enterprise Data Governance frameworks.
• Support governance processes including roles, policies, and data stewardship practices.
• Contribute to data governance community initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in data governance, metadata management, and data stewardship is required.
• Hands-on expertise with Collibra or similar Data Catalog tools is essential.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks, policies, and standards is expected.
• Experience in defining functional requirements and working with business stakeholders is important.
• Ability to drive adoption, training, and change management initiatives is required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.
• Familiarity with data analysis concepts is beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills are expected.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
