About the Role
We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team as a FHIR API Validation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that FHIR-based APIs and workflows comply with FHIR R4 and implementation guides, as well as performing interoperability testing across payer-provider systems.

FHIR API Validation Specialist
Responsibilities
- Design and execute interoperability test scenarios and test cases for payer-provider systems.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of prior authorization and utilization management workflows.
- Validate data quality, terminology bindings, and profile conformance.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams in a US healthcare payer environment.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and improve first-pass success rates.
- Design and develop all QA artifacts.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of FHIR standard (R4), REST APIs, and healthcare interoperability.
- Experience with Utilization Management / Prior Authorization workflows/EDI X12 278.
- Familiarity with US healthcare payer systems.
- Expertise in API testing and tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, etc.
