Data/ETL Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a FHIR API Validation Specialist. This role involves validating FHIR-based APIs and workflows for compliance with FHIR R4 and implementation guides, as well as designing and executing interoperability test scenarios across payer-provider systems.

FHIR API Validation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Design and execute interoperability test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform end-to-end testing of prior authorization and utilization management workflows.
• Validate data quality, terminology bindings, and profile conformance.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams within a US healthcare payer environment.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and improve first-pass success rates.
• Design and develop all QA artifacts.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of FHIR standard (R4), REST APIs, and healthcare interoperability.
• Experience with Utilization Management / Prior Authorization workflows/EDI X12 278.
• Familiarity with US healthcare payer systems.
• Expertise in API testing and tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, etc.
