Job Summary
We are looking for a strong hands-on Data Architect with expertise in modern data platforms, data engineering, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience designing and implementing scalable data architectures and should be comfortable working closely with business and engineering teams. Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, Claude for Gen AI, and willingness to learn/use Matillion for ETL orchestration and transformation will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure data architecture solutions.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data transformation processes.
- Work hands-on with Snowflake, cloud data platforms, and modern data engineering tools.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support code reviews, performance optimization, and best practices for data engineering teams.
- Explore and implement AI/Gen AI use cases using Snowflake Cortex AI, Claude, and related technologies.
- Learn and work with Matillion for ETL orchestration and transformation activities.
- Ensure data quality, governance, scalability, and reliability across solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Data Architecture and Data Engineering.
- Expertise in Snowflake and cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Good understanding of Python and modern data engineering frameworks.
- Experience working with large-scale structured and semi-structured data.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Snowflake Cortex AI.
- Exposure to Claude or other Gen AI/LLM technologies.
- Experience or willingness to learn Matillion.
- Knowledge of AI-driven analytics and automation use cases.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Experience
- 8+ years of overall experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture.
- Prior experience in customer-facing or architect-level responsibilities preferred.
