Data Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior MarkIT EDM Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-driven professional with deep expertise in data engineering, strong technical capabilities, and the ability to deliver high-quality data solutions. This role involves working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration, integrity, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using MarkIT EDM
• Build efficient and secure data workflows to support business operations and analytics

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Gather and analyze data requirements from internal teams and external clients
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust and accurate data solutions

Data Quality & Optimization

• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across all data processes
• Optimize data pipelines for scalability, performance, and reliability

Issue Resolution

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, quality, and processing in a timely manner

Required Skills

• Extensive hands-on experience with MarkIT EDM
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management
• Experience with scheduling tools like ControlM
• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data modeling techniques
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or Scala
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.
