Your Key Accountabilities
- Gather, analyze, design, and implement data-related requirements and optimization initiatives
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for extracting data from cloud and on-premise systems into a Data Lake
- Build and manage large, complex datasets aligned with business needs
- Configure data workflows to optimize ETL/ELT processes across multiple data sources
- Evaluate current data architecture and recommend improvements
- Develop analytics tools to generate actionable business insights (e.g., customer acquisition, operational performance)
- Create small data-driven applications to support analytics and data science teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and data deliver
Who we are looking for
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in
SQL and relational databasesExperience with
big data pipelines, architectures, and datasetsHands-on experience with:
- ETL tools: Databricks, DBT, Azure Data Factory
- Databases: SQL & NoSQL systems
- File formats: Parquet, JSON, CSV, XML
- Programming languages: Python, Java, C++, PowerShell, DAX
Experience with
Azure Data Services and
DatabricksKnowledge of
message queues, stream processing, and scalable data storesFamiliarity with
Agile methodologies and
Azure DevOps
Nice To Have
- Experience or understanding of Data Mesh architecture
- SAP knowledge
- Azure data-related certifications
- German language skills
